



What is Raw Chocolate?
Raw chocolate is exactly what it says, is raw because it has not been heated to temperatures above 45 °C. When the cacao has not been exposed to high temperatures the goodness is intact and we reap the rewards.
Cacao, the basic ingredient found in all chocolates is one of the most nutrient rich foods on the planet. It is packed full of minerals, antioxidants and enzymes which have not been processed and simply boiled away as in commercial chocolates.
In ancient times, cacao named "food of the gods" was revered and its qualities understood and now scientists are discovering that cacao contains well over 300 nutritionals compounds.
